The Palestine Cultural Days Festival aims to promote Palestinian culture and heritage to contribute to preserving the Palestinian identity and memory. This festival honors artistic and literary figures as well as cultural institutions that have contributed to the prominence of Palestinian culture, art, and heritage in each edition. In addition to this, the festival includes diverse theatrical, cinematic, and musical performances as well as seminars, exhibitions, artistic spaces, and poetry evenings.
The first Palestine Cultural Days Festival took place in 2015 at the Lebanese National Theater in Tyre. Back then, the festival included a variety of artistic activities, from music to traditional folk theater performances to folk costumes. It also honored the late artists Ghassan Matar and Mahmoud Said.
The second edition of the festival resumed after four years of being interrupted. Salman Natour, artist Rim Al Banna, poet Samih Al-Qasim, caricature painter Naji Al-Ali, director and photographer Hani Jawharieh, and graphic artist Kamal Boullata were among those honored.
As for the third edition, it was launched in 2020 and honored poet Mahmoud Darwish, author Ghassan Kanafani, graphic artist Mustafa Al-Hallaj, poet Fadwa Tuqan, radio broadcaster Fatima Al-Budeiri, and photographer Karima Abboud.
In 2021, the fourth edition took place under the slogan "For Freedom." Artist Mohammad Bakri, director Najwa Najjar, theater performer Adib Jahshan, filmmaker Annemarie Jacir, co-founder of the Freedom Theater in Jenin camp Zakaria Zubeidi, all the prisoners of "The Freedom Tunnel," and activist Leila Khaled were honored.
As for the fifth edition, it was launched in 2022 and included a handcrafts exhibition entitled "The Palestinian Memory," a musical performance by the Elissar Youth Association, and a folkloric performance by the Palestinian Keffiyeh band. In addition to this, the screening of the "Passion" documentary took place, as did the "Stories from the Borders" and "Koum Yaba" performances. This edition honored His Excellency, Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, the director, Mr. Basil Al-Khatib, and the late Palestinian activist, Reem Khalil.
The sixth edition of the festival was held in 2023 under the slogan “For Cultural Resistance,” with the participation of different artistic performances as well as a freedom carnival that toured Tyre’s streets. This edition has also honored the two Palestinian bands, Keffiyeh and Jaffa.

يهدف المهرجان إلى تظهير الثّقافة والتّراث الفلسطينيين، بغية الإسهام في الحفاظ على الهُوِيّة الفلسطينية وذاكرتها. كما تُوَجّه تحيّة إلى شخصيّات فنيّة وأدبيّة ومؤسّسات ثقافيّة أسهمت في إبراز الثّقافة والفنّ والتّراث الفلسطينيّ في كل دورة تقام. كما أن المهرجان يحوي على تنظيم مجموعة عروض مسرحيّة وسينمائيّة وموسيقيّة، إلى جانب ندوات ومعارض ومساحات للفنون التّشكيليّة وأمسيات شعريّة.
انطلقت الدّورة الأولى لمهرجان أيّام فلسطين الثّقافيّة من المسرح الوطنيّ اللّبنانيّ في مدينة صور عام ٢٠١٥ وشملت حينها جملة أنشطة فنّيّة أظهرت الأغنيّات والمسرحيّات الشعبيّة التراثيّة والأزياء الفولكلوريّة ووجّهت تحيّة إلى الفنّانين الرّاحلين غسّان مطر ومحمود سعيد.
أما الدّورة الثّانية، فجاءت بعد توقّف المهرجان لمدّة أربع سنوات ووجّهت التّحيّة حينها الى الكاتب والأديب سلمان النّاطور والفنّانة ريم البنا والشّاعر سميح القاسم ورسام الكاريكاتير ناجي العلي والمخرج والمصوّر هاني جوهريّة والتّشكيلي كمال بلاطة.
لحقت بها الدّورة الثّالثة عام ٢٠٢٠ ووجّهت تحيّة الى الشّاعر محمود درويش والأديب غسّان كنفاني والتّشكيلي مصطفى الحلّاج والشّاعرة فدوى طوقان والإعلاميّة فاطمة البديري والمصوّرة كريمة عبّود.
كما أطلقت الدّورة الرّابعة للمهرجان عام ٢٠٢١ تحت شعار "من أجل الحريّة" وتم تكريم كل من الممثّل محمد بكري والمخرجة نجوى النّجار والمسرحي أديب جهشان والمخرجة آن ماري جاسر ومؤسّس مسرح الحريّة في مخيم جنين زكريا الزبيدي وجميع أسرى نفق الحريّة والنّاشطة ليلى خالد.
أما الدّورة الخامسة من المهرجان فأقيمت عام ٢٠٢٢ وتضمّنت معرض للأشغال اليدويّة تحت عنوان "الذّاكرة الفلسطينيّة" وفقرة موسيقيّة لفرقة أليسار الشبابيّة وفقرة فلكلوريّة لفرقة الكوفيّة الفلسطينيّة، بالإضافة الى عرض الفيلم الوثائقيّ "شغف" وعرض مسرحيّة "حكايات من الحدود" ومسرحيّة "قوم يابا". وكرّمت هذه الدّورة سعادة الدّكتور طلال أبو غزالة والمخرج الأستاذ باسل الخطيب والنّاشطة الفلسطينيّة الرّاحلة ريم خليل.
وستقام الدّورة السّادسة من مهرجان أيّام فلسطين الثّقافيّة في خلال شهر أيلول/سبتمبر٢٠٢٣
وأقيمت الدّورة السّادسة من مهرجان أيّام فلسطين الثّقافيّة عام ٢٠٢٣ تحت شعار "من أجل المقاومة الثّقافيّة" بمشاركة عروض فنيّة مختلفة بالإضافة الى كرنفال الحرّية الذي جال شوارع مدينة صور. كما كرّمت هذه الدّورة الفرقتين الفلسطينيتين الكوفيّة ويافا.
