The Tyre Cultural Days Festival aims to promote Tyre city’s culture and heritage to contribute to preserving its identity and memory. This festival honors artistic and literary figures as well as cultural institutions that have contributed to the prominence of the city’s culture, art, and heritage in each edition. In addition to this, the festival includes diverse theatrical, cinematic, and musical performances as well as seminars, exhibitions, artistic spaces, and poetry evenings.
The first Tyre Cultural Days Festival took place in 2020 at the Lebanese National Theater in Tyre, concurrently with the Tyre International Short Film Festival’s seventh edition, which honored the late director Jean Chamoun. Back then, the festival also honored different influential and well-known figures in Tyre, including: Nadime Al Mallah, founder of the Al Jarah Scout and the Lebanese Civil Defense, the photographer Mohammad Torjman, the shipbuilder Elia Tawfiq Barbour, the athlete Hassan Jahami, the translator Ali Hallak, and the municipality employee Ahmad Sultan. The festival also included a handicraft, drawing, and photograph exhibition illustrating the history of Tyre city.
As for the second edition, it was launched in 2021 and honored Al Tadamon Sports and Socio-Cultural Associations, the artist Bahia Zayat, and the late doctor Mohammad Ajami.

يهدف المهرجان إلى تظهير الثّقافة والتّراث الذي يمثّل مدينة صور، بغية الإسهام في الحفاظ على هُوِيّة المدينة وذاكرتها. كما تُوَجّه تحيّة إلى شخصيّات فنيّة وأدبيّة ومؤسّسات ثقافيّة أسهمت في إبراز الثّقافة والفنّ والتّراث في صور. كما أن المهرجان يحوي على تنظيم مجموعة عروض مسرحيّة وسينمائيّة وموسيقيّة، إلى جانب ندوات ومعارض ومساحات للفنون التّشكيليّة وأمسيات شعريّة.
انطلقت الدّورة الأولى لمهرجان أيّام صور الثّقافيّة من المسرح الوطنيّ اللّبنانيّ في مدينة صور عام ٢٠٢٠ وذلك بالتّزامن مع الدّورة السّابعة من مهرجان صور السّينمائي للأفلام القصيرة التي كرّمت المخرج الرّاحل جان شمعون. كما وكرّم المهرجان مجموعة من الشخصيّات المؤثّرة والبارزة في تاريخ مدينة صور وهم الراحلين: نديم الملّاح مؤسّس كشّافة الجراح والدّفاع المدني، المصوّر الفوتوغرافيّ محمد ترجمان، صانع السّفن والمراكب الفنّان إيليا توفيق بربور، الرّياضي حسن جهمي، المترجم علي حلّاق، والموظّف البلديّ أحمد سلطاني. وتضمّنت فعاليّات المهرجان معرض الأشغال اليدويّة والرّسومات والصّور الفوتوغرافيّة عن تاريخ مدينة صور.
أما الدّورة الثّانية، فانطلقت عام ٢٠٢١ وكرّمت جمعيتا التّضامن الرياضيّة والثّقافيّة – الاجتماعيّة والفنّانة التّشكيليّة بهية زيّات والدّكتور الرّاحل محمد عجمي.
